Obama's Welfare Health Care Reform is nothing more than a Taxpayer entitlement program

Obama is not particularly good at taking advice or constructive criticism. He said during the 2008 election that John McCain cares, but he just doesn't get it. It would be a good time for Obama to take a little advice from himself and the taxpayers of this country and listen to what they have to say about this binge spending and this negative aggressive legislative behavior of Congress that is being pushed by the President.
Obama needs to listen to what the middle class is saying. Granted, he may or may not be more "intelligent" than the average voter but the average voter has above average common sense that can smell a problem from a mile awa.
His argument that 36 million people are without health care today and that in itself is unacceptable. There are large numbers of people within this 36 million people who could afford health care but choose to spend their income on other things.
Ultimately, government run health care would become an entitlement program that the American taxpayers would be footing the bill for. This in itself is unacceptable and unsustainable for the long term, much like Social Security and Medicare has become a huge debt bomb in the hands of Congress that is ready to blow up in the faces of working Americans and those who are retiring in the next 5-10 years.
Taxpayers would rather see the politicians seek cuts in other entitlement programs and shore up the fraudulent losses that are taxing the system before they start on this gargantuan program. Find savings in these programs so you can fund the majority of health care through these savings. Don't ask for more if you can't manage what you have!
How did we get here?
Obama has an incredible gift of speaking. He lulled a large group of independents and moderates into his camp that gave him a 9.5 million vote victory over McCain
A wrecked Chrysler Lebaron would have given John McCain a run for his money.
A strategy that was concocted by Obama’s team used phrases like ”hope and change, a new era, we are who we have been waiting for, etc…” These words hypnotized a large swath of voters into believing that Obama was going to change the way Washington does business. Get rid of the corruption, and the back room deals. Throw the bums out or at least expose them for what they are and have become.
You ask "how did that go?" Not toooooo good!
Voters did not expect for Obama to change the way they do business, conduct their lives and impede their decision making progress. There are so many people today who never have accepted a government handout. These people have held jobs, paid their mortgage, paid their bills, raised their families and took setbacks head on and solved their problems on their own. These same people do not want government intrusion upsetting their lives and reducing their freedoms they have enjoyed.
Many of these same people today are experiencing lost jobs, reduced incomes, foreclosures, etc… What do they hear? A constant droning from this President as he babbles ad nauseum about the desperate need for health care.
People want their jobs back. People need the government to provide
an environment that will stimulate the business environment that will make it conducive for for investors and small business owners to get this
economy back on its feet through tax cuts and tax credits for taking
calculated risks. They don't want the government to provide jobs, they want government to get out of the way and let American people produce jobs through their ingenuity and strong work ethic,
Obama has majorities in both Houses of Congress. He does not need the Republicans votes to pass this legislation. Why does it not get passed? Here is a quote from Obama concerning well written legislation…
A good compromise, a good piece of legislation, is like a good sentence; or a good piece of music. Everybody can recognize it. They say, ‘Huh. It works. It makes sense..
Objectively speaking this is a terribly conceived piece of legislation. So awful, that even the legislators have not read it but demand that a vote be taken immediately. What is the hurry
What is wrong with this picture?
My father used to say that it is unwise to make a decision on something without taking care to examine the situation thoroughly before you spend money. Washington wants us to take them at face value and trust them that they know what they are doing and that what they are doing is going to work as they say it will. Nothing has ever gone as planned in Washington. The success rate is very low.
1caveat America- voter beware.
This legislation is so hideous it will ultimately bring our country to its knees.

Hopfully, making money isn't the number one factor in any healthcare legislation that's passed.
Of,course saving money by cutting corners,(no pun intended)shouldn't be the number one prority either.
Any profit that is made should rightfully be used to improve the system overall. That's what profit is for,to improve the quality, and effciency of services. Unfortunately there are those who have turned the system into a bunch of protituting sick care practicioners. The drug companies for one.

In the least, we can hope for a shift of power during the next elections.
